Description Tyrannosaurus rex is chasing a juvenile Triceratops prorsus. This isn't the first time I've portrayed a Tyrannosaurus hunting a young Triceratops. In this case, I decided to do something more dynamic. The work of Eric Snively and his colleagues (2019) showed that the Tyrannosaurus was a relatively maneuverable predator for its size due to the powerful musculature of the legs and relatively low rotational inertia: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/artic… / It could turn on one leg faster than giant allosauroids to overtake the victim. When I hadn't started tracing the contours yet, the supporting leg was brought to the right, so the Tyrannosaurus looked like it was collapsing on a sharp turn. I had to change the position of my foot to make the picture more realistic from the point of view of the laws of physics, which imposes restrictions on the movement of such large animals.
