I know I'm a sucker fir art nouveau, line drawing and watercolors, so I'm an easy victim here.
But you gotta admit this is really first rate!
Just lovely, elegant, soft, sad and distanced, yet so feminine, strong and eternal... Does what I write even make any sense?
Don't know, but the emotional cocktail is strong here, and I'm only human!
Thank you for sharing!

I like the thistles and spikes theme, you recreated well the style of Mucha but with your own composition.
I just find her eyes a bit too sad, but that's how they are in "La Trappistine" so I understand your choice.

You do the basic colours on computer, and then, you print it and make the details with crayons ?

Thank you. Yes, the sad eyes are taken directly from “The Trappistine”.

I’m not very skilled with digital coloring, so I prefer to do the flat/basic colours on computer, and then make the shadows and details by hand, with the crayons. Unfortunately, the results are often weird.

Congratulations for your artworks, you’re really good at digital coloring

Thank you, but when I began, I really sucked with digital painting XD

Your results aren't weird, I can't really tell what's digital and what's traditional in your work, it's harmonious I think

Thank you!
For this work I've used: two A4 sheets, pencil, ink, scanner, digital coloring and editing, printer, crayons.

XIXDeviant In reply to LeOnOkOoPa [2011-11-24 08:21:21 +0000 UTC]

ahahah
