Description Art commission by Augustine Gayer at my request.

Malfkla Yzu was a male Human serving in the Imperial Navy within the Galactic Empire. At some point early in his career, Yzu became a member of the Ancient Order of Pessimists, a religious group from Maryx Minor who followed a creed and lifestyle of pessimism. This Order as well as the later Church of the Darkside would have a profound effect on Yzu and those closest to him, with Yzu maintaining the blue stole with black stipes, the gold bells and necklace of the order on his person regularly.Β Yzu rose through the ranks and was appointed admiral of the 15th Deep Core Reserve Fleet under Grand Moff Cizero Gann headquartered on Odik II. Yzu formed a close friendship with the Planetary Governor of Prakith, Foga Brill who became his close friend and advisor. Β After the Battle of Endor and death of both Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader threw the Empire into chaos, Yzu took advantage of the loyalty he commanded over the 15th Deep Core Reserve Fleet as well as his role as Gann's immediate subordinate to become a Warlord, using Gann as a political puppet to further legitimize his actions, dubbing his faction the Constitutional Protectorate. Once established with Gann under his control, Yzu used his influence and position to have Brill promoted to Moff of the Constitutional Protectorate of Prakith and forming the Red Police, a local militia to enforce Brill and Yzu's practices on the planet. Like many of his fellow Warlords, Yzu added titles and modifications to his rank and uniform in an attempt to increase his legitimacy. Yzu largely maintained an isolationist policy, holding his territory in the Deep Core around Odik II and Prakith while warring with other Warlords in the Deep Core. Yzu, Brill and Gann would briefly return to the Imperial fold during the Pre Shadow Hand and Shadow Hand campaigns where the losses of the campaigns and Imperial Mutiny greatly weakened their offensive power. Like the other Warlords, Yzu again went rogue after the Reborn Emperor's final death and the destruction of the Throneworld of Byss, returning to his Deep Core holdings and warring with his rivals in the Deep Core. Gann remained Yzu's political lackey, until Yzu was killed at Tsoss Beacon in 12 ABY, a victim of Admiral Daala mass murder of the region's ranking warlords when they refused to reunify the Empire. While Daala took most of Yzu's forces in the aftermath, a significant portion remained at Odik II and Prakith to defend those Fortress planets. In the power vacuum following Yzu's death, Brill shrewdly promoted Gann as a figurehead ruler to succeed Yzu until Brill's own death by assassination in 18 ABY and the liberation of Prakith. Gann would briefly rule the remaining holding of Odik II until it was captured by Admiral Ackbar in 25 ABY bringing a final end to Yzu's Constitutional Protectorate.
