Darn the fact that the series finale is tonight. And there won't be a new Batman series until 2013.

That I didn't know and is quite sad to hear about it. Batman Brave and Bold is a good series although I only manage to watch season 1 and some of season 2.

Try to watch it online then. Just be glad that they got a good finale...and that the person responsible for it's cancellation has been punished...to death.

So the show is ending because of cancellation? That is the worst thing that could happen to a good show.

Well, spoiler alert, but here's what happened:
Batmite has gotten bored with the show and wants the network to cancel it so that they can make a more serious/darker show instead (like the episode "Chill of the Night"), so he uses his powers to alter the show using every jumping the shark trick in the book (he litteraly has a book about jumping the shark) so that it will be cancelled. However, Ambush Bug (a self aware superhero with teleportation who Batmite calls "obscure even for this show") tries to stop him since he knows that if they're cancelled, their world will cease to exist, so he tries to get Batman to realize that he's being altered while still trying to stop Gorrilla Grod from turning people to into Bananas. Eventually, Ambush Bug does convince Batman that all the changes:
Him having a wife and daughter
Gadgets made exclusivly to be made into toys (a street louge board with KIT like intelligence)
Replacing Aquaman's voice actor with Ted Maginty
Batman Scrappy Doo
Moving the show to Florida or pretty much a beach like area
Giving Batman guns (This one, plus Ambush Bug, made Batman realize it was all fake, then everything was undone)
aren't real, and the show goes back to normal (the Ted Maginty part takes a little effort though), and Batman, Aquaman, and Ambush Bug beat up Gorilla Grod, saying that if they're going out, they might as well go out with a bang. Unfortunately, Batmite's deed is already done as the netowrk cancels Brave and the Bold to make a darker show (details on that can be seen in my latest journal entry in case you're interested). However, Ambush Bug then comes in to tell Batmite that since Batmite himself is also a fictional character, and a silly/campy one at that, there's no need for him a dark Batman show, so he begins to fade out as Ambush Bug leaves. After Batmite says "That's All Folks", the show then goes back to the Batcave where Ambush Bug called everyone up for a wrap party as crew men struck the set. The show then ends with Batman signing off. All in all, a good ending.

Great pic and very fitting to post it today on what will be the final ep of the series. I'm sad now.
