Whoa...okay...this takes my perusing of traditional art to another level! Jeez...what can I possibly say to express my awe and respect for this type of talent (not to mention, I happen to love the subject matter - finally a female who is toned to practically perfection)! Awesome work...I'm more than impressed! And now I'm "watching" you!

Great from.. she is in top notch shape.. I think a mud wrestling meet might find my butt on the bottom with this lady... all in fun I hope. Great job.. Wish I had a job where I could draw at work. Hugs

that is exactly why I cut out her face and left her hair unfinished. FINALLY, you have no idea how many times I have tried to explain to people. " no that wasn't just me not being good enough, obviously I know how to draw hair..."
Thanks again!
do you ever go to the dev meets??

hi. stumbled across your page through . i HAVE to know: what type of paper do you use? i noticed the texture in it doesn't seem to look like that of the bristol i use, and the sheen of her skin seems to be unshaded at all, rather than spots that have been erased in the usual smudging that occurs in my pencil drawings... how do you do it? does the paper you use prevent smudging, while still allowing such smooth gradations? any tips you could give me would be much appreciated. thanks!

Your comment was cool yet a bit weird. I think I know what you mean. I use Canson green sketch pads. They are really nice paper, but I think the bristol is also. The canson is very very smooth though. I use toilet paper and cross hatching to shade my work. I never ever touch it with my fingers and I rarely erase. Though I make jokes about my sketch pads eating erasers. I usually erase in the outside line stage. Sometimes I over use my T.P. and I have to lift some highlights out. I hope this is what you wanted, I am really not versed in any sort of art speak at all I never had any real classes. that means talk to me like I am a mechanic and I will get it LMAO
Thanks so much!

As much as I hate to make the hundred and twenty-second comment on something, I have to here.
The ridges of muscle down her back and the big deep shadows and subtle highlights give her an awesome ripped body tone without looking like some cliche' oiled steroid-pusher. I love the muscles behind/under her shoulder and just under her deltoid.. and that dimple in her hip works freaking wonders for the picture.
The hair is a little patterned, but won't keep me from faving this.

The shadows and highlights are incredible, and contrast effectively! I'm amazed by the level of realism you’ve achieved mainly through smooth tones alone!
