Description
With increased aggression on the part Russia in the Ukraine and Georgia, the Baltic States of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania joined to become the Baltic Union in 2023. Although the states within the Union get significant amounts of autonomy in many areas of governance, the federal government controls military and foreign policy. After the collapse of Russia in the 2030's, the Union's borders expanded with the admission of Kaliningrad and the on-going occupation of northern Belarus.
