what a fucking year! i was so stressed out that i became really unproductive.... at least for my standards. my mental health was super duper fucked this year and i'm ready to leave it behind. like apparently i had no finished pictures for october which? hasn't happened in years. but i think my slump gave way to some good changes once i recovered.

in terms of art quality.... you know what? i did okay! and i can see improvements from last year. i don't like the feeling of looking back at old art and liking it because i've tricked myself into thinking that means i haven't improved, but that's just not how i should go about it. it's ok to like old art, it just means the quality holds up, at least for a little while. now let's get into 2019 already holy shit
