Once upon a time about a week ago Kevin from U-KISS dressed in drag and went on Star King pretending to be a girl and totally fooled everyone. Many fans said they would never be able to look at him the same way again; I was completely unsurprised and unable to comprehend their reaction.I mean. Come on. It's Kevin.
I felt creepy drawing Kevin as a girl until I reasoned it's his fault in the first place I had a picture to work from. Ohhhh Kevin.
BTW if you ever have the chance to see that episode of Star King, absolutely do so. Kevin sasses Jessica from SNSD and dances the Man Man Ha Ni dance in a sparkly minidress. It's actually kinda hot. Look, Kevin Woo, look at the things you make me say. T_T

Thanks! It's important to take note of the direction each section of hair goes so it looks realistic, but the most important thing is to take your time -- rush it and it'll always show. And of course practice is key!

As for criticism, the part closest to his hand on his pinky looks a bit weird, and the shading under his right (our right) eye looks a bit weird too, but that's probably from the lighting in the picture and such.
That being said I am jealousjealousjealous over your ability to drawing hair like that. Oh my god >| GIVE ME YOUR ABILITIES ;dofghdf;goidfg /forever doomed to suck I should stick to bald people

Okay his hand is totally weird, you're right, but I swear it looked reasonable while I was drawing it, IDEK what happened there. I went back and looked at the reference pic I used to try to figure it out and I'm gonna blame it on really crappy lighting and drawing while sleepy, which is a not so great combination desu ne. And the eye shadows, I swear to god, are from his epic false eyelashes. (At least I'm hoping they're flase; it would be unfair to women everywhere if they're real.)
lol I spent HOURS working on the hair, grumbling about how THIS HAD BETTER TURN OUT REAL GOOD OR I'M GONNA BE SUPER PISSED. I've never attempted crazy wavy hair like that before but I guess I was willing to for Kevin~~~ or something.

It's a bit easier if you plan it all out in advance, I kinda did it in stages. Like, I did the eyes and related shading, then worked on the hair for a bit, then other features, then hair, then finished the face and was like WTF I STILL HAVE LIKE THREE MORE HOURS OF WORK TO DO ON THE HAIR so I put on some Epik High, killed my awareness of the world around me, and time just kinda melted. It's cool, except when you finish and you're like WTF IT'S FIVE IN THE MORNING WASN'T IT AFTERNOON WHEN I STARTED? I need to start setting alarms when I draw or something. |D
