Finally got this done <3 AFTER A FEW DAYS, IT GOT TO FINISH THIS!
<
So last Tuesday was the day when I first got into this amazing show so much. Basically, when they first aired the pilot episode which really got me into the show so much.
It all started in August 16, 2013.
Seriously, one of my all time favorite and ones of the best modern cartoons next to TMNT 2012, Steven Universe and Gravity Falls.
I'm still gonna miss this show, sure I do have other favorite series of today... But nothing will replace this wonderful cartoon and I will never stop drawing fanart of it.~♥
I'll be honest with you guys, because most of my older watchers and close friends would know why this show means so much today me. Ever since the show came out, it really brought so much joy to my eyes, even after my struggle during my parents fights as well as them getting a divorce and the conflicts between my brother and my parents. This show brought me so much nostalgic feels and vibes of cartoons like PPG or games like Kirby and he Mario and Luigi Saga games, just only with Star Wars themes.
Sadly, came a day when my brother got into a seven wheel accident, everything fell apart during his coma. Guys, I was so scared, I didn't know what to do... I tried not to give up hopes but I was so scared at the time because I was so worried about him not making it. However, with the confidence of my grandparents, they told me to never give up hope, smile, live, laugh, love, and stay strong for my brother through prayers.
So each day, I never stopped praying but still felt overwhelmed with this family crisis. That was until I got some support from a lot of my friends and how they inspire me to do a lot of fun fanart of WoY. The show itself was basically one series that helped me cope with my sadness, fear, and struggled I had for my brother's coma. Thankfully, after a year of recovery.... My brother was alive again.~ I honestly could cry, because I did the best I could to have all those positive vibes just for him. And now, he still remains here with us today, along with his own newborn son to continue the story of his life.~
Wander Over Yonder was basically one cartoon I held a strong attachment to (not in a rabid fan way, don't worry) through a very dark time in my life. I also love how the show always had the theme "Even when it comes to bad situations, always leave a smile on and never give up hope. Look at the bright side of things, even through the dark times." I mean.... I honestly feel like crying, but I had great memories with people from the fandom who helped showed me some support. Sure there were things in the fandom that I didn't like (mostly tumblr's fandom side) and while its not perfect, it helped motivated me with my art better.
That's why I love the show so much, it really was something I enjoyed to help cope with the struggle I've been facing at the time.
Thank you Craig McCracken for making Powerpuff Girls, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and this wonderful cartoon!
(Yes it looks sketch but that's intentional, I was inspired by some coloring-book theme art from one of my favorite Kirby games )
