This took a while.....I made this for my friend 's birthday. We are both HUGE fans of the Avatar series, and I drew her two pairings from the show. Makorra kisses in the center as Katara and Zuko gaze at each other. The background is, I hope, reminiscent of Aang and Ozai's final battle.
I have always felt that Mako and Korra being together was a way of pleasing the supporters of Zutara. A water tribe girl and fire nation boy love one another, one is fiercely protective of his family, and the other is a hot headed mess of emotions.

Korra and Zuko both deal with people's expectations of them and are afraid of being failures. Mako and Katara are both providers for their families and support the Avatar they love.

The framework for this is great! Zuko's scar is on the left side, and the curves of Katara and Zuko's smiles are a bit too steep, but otherwise, amazing job!

Thanks! I know Zuko's scar is on the other side, but I just wanted to try drawing it anyway. I'm really only beginning as an artist, so its great to have feedback like that.
