Tried something different with this! I used markers for the base and local color? Fuck local color B| The base for the back wall there was purple. At first I was kind of uncertain but I think it came out looking pretty good!

Thar be Sophie Hatter from Howl's Moving Castle-- the book, not the movie. They're two completely different things. Inspiration for this scene comes from the beginning of the book where she accidentally charms the hats she decorates-- but these are before they're decorated, because otherwise it would feel really cluttered.

It looks kind of wonky scanned but I'm still overall really pleased with it.
