Description
So, I went out one morning and noticed steam rising from the battered old fence in the garden.
I tried, with limited success, to photograph the phenomenon.
Now that I have filled the gap in the hedge with an elder, I doubt that I will ever see it again.

OK, so here's the dilemma: the work started like this -
The sun-driven steam

Rises from the morning fence.

In the night it rained

Assuming it's worth bothering with at all, which is better?
Any suggestions how to improve on either?
I would appreciate people's opinions.
