So...I don't do much fan art anymore, but I have wanted to draw for Five Nights at Freddy's something fierce. However, I doubt my ability to draw any of the animatronics, so I was stuck pouting, even though I wouldn't have known what to draw even if I could. I'm a big baby. Seriously, I am scared of my own shadow, but after finding out about the first game I ended up becoming obsessed with it. Though, for a few days, I only slept during the day...with the lights on. Due to my fear, before I played it myself, I watched my favorite Let's Play Youtuber (Markiplier...duh) play FNAF2. I remember seeing Balloon Boy and actually liking the look of him. On Night 2, Mark said, "And why is Balloon Boy a part of this?"

Why is he a part of it? The death mini games for FNAF2 show the pasts of everything else, except for Balloon Boy. He's not an animatronic. He doesn't kill you. What is it that makes him do what he does then?

Thus, my head cannon was born. I have named them both (I had a lot of time while I was working on it) and even came up with a silly story behind it. The short of it: This brother and sister, Michael and Sarah, have been lured in by the Purple Guy using colorful balloons. Scared, Sarah drops the Foxy plush animal and her protective older brother, gets between them. Knowing what is to come, he tells her to run. But, before leaving them in the dark, the Purple Guy says those horrifying words, "You can't."

So that's why Balloon Boy distracts you, rendering you unable to use your light and see Foxy in the dark. Unfortunately I was unable to make a sweet connection to Balloon Girl and why she hides under the desk, watching you from time to time. Perhaps it is to make sure that you can't leave. Oh~ the possibilities. It is one thing that makes me love this game so very much.

Onward to other things...

HOLY CRAPOLI! I LOVE this picture! Yes, there are (of course) mistakes, but overall I think it came out splendidly. The kids look great, and the Purple Guy looks like the terrifying moster that he is. And that Foxy toy, so cute! Ugh. I love so much about this, even if I struggled with the shading. I guess I still have fear of over shading, even when it is completely necessary, and while I know it is off, I also know that it is better than I have done before (though the final version with effects might not show it).

Ugh, I will shut up now. I haven't done such a long artist comment in a while, but I got excited.
