Because they made Chesh look AWESOME.

Might just be me but I don't mind my art being spread out on the net, so long as I get credit so people know where to find more of the same.
You could also (with the permission of the artist) give out info on where to find more art by the artist who did it.
Yup, I think Chesh is quite awesome. I'm tempted to figure out how to finish up the design on one of my characters that uses my account name to have a Creshosk pony. Then that sets up a basis for a "Chesh and Cresh" picture.
