Description
According to Old Slavic mythology, the Todorci (plural) are dark horsemen who are considered evil beings. Their real name was lost over time, because it was not allowed to be said out loud. They are a combination of humans and horses and they look like the human literally grew out of horse's back. They are clad in a cloak, have no face, are armed with sabers and are sometimes invisible. Frightened people can hear them but cannot see them. Although, the next morning, there are numerous hoofprints and other traces by which their passing is recognized.
