The form design isn't as good as it could be, and the typography isn't really doing anything for me, but the concept is really good and it seems pretty well laid out. 
It would probably suit a traditional painter's portfolio best, but it would look good as a portfolio for any profession really.

i actually changed it when I coded it, I made it a lot more transparent

Nice use of textures and colors, I like it. The use of a simple gradient and rounded corners on the footer really make it feel like a different style all together which is a nice variation.
One nitpick detail though is the heavier case on the first letters of your navigation; this creates an unevenness of the letters which kind of forces the eye to keep bouncing to that heavier case, if that makes sense. I'd suggest just going with one font weight.
