Ya i know.. dont laugh at my sick and stupid art works .. ehehe...i used photoshop only.
The eye is mine. i used sony cybershot.

over all try to work with high definition images. i think this one was of 6Mp.

well.. if u ask that how really did or i do i cant tell u so.. i donno...
Giving u some ways-
1.quick mask for each unique selections>hue and sat OR Level adjustments.[lots of time i used inverse selection method]
2.use of filters for multiple layers.. i prefer vivid,screen and overlay.
3.for eye part selections its better to use pen tool. then simple new selection.. color it using hue and sat.
4.here i also used bevel and emboss.
