Description
Atop the dormant volcano Capulin stands a gnarled and twisted mesquite, broken and disfigured from its fight for life high above the plains. Behind it another volcano rises like spine from the smooth skin of the land. The air is thin and cold, and I find myself sucking for breath as I pig-a-back my little sister around the mile long trail circumnavigating the crater. A storm is sweeping in across the igneous landscape of New Mexico, promising a freezing downpour. This world...isn't it wonderful?Best on fullview.
