i Read Twilight BEFORE it was Popularseriously way to much drama surrounding it. it drives me crazy so i found the need for this.
you can give your opinion on it (the book/movie) if you want im always interested in hearing those

haha yeah i understand what you mean. I read twilight before new moon was even published. And now i just reckon all these obsessed girls have ruined the whole thing for me a bit.

and the movie sucks sooo much x___x
it has ruining it and ALL other vampire stories. i feel as if Twilight is degrading them as well 
but ive always been a vamp fan so thou shall not keep me from a good story. :S

Does it really matter when you jumped onto the bandwagon? So what if you liked something before it was popular or if you liked it when it was popular? You read it.

the point is that you liked it before it got ridiculously popular and people started liking it or hating it just because when they haven't even read it ect.

I did also. In fact I was the first one from my library to read it, and no one in my town had heard of it until then (small town ._.) - I remember someone asking me if it was good and saying, '
Within a month everyone was reading it and obsessed with it >_>
After the first one, I thought they were all kind of... below average books, I hate to say it. I didn't really like Edward, I couldn't stand Bella, and none of the supporting characters who I did like were developed enough to really hold my interest.
I really enjoyed the Host, however. Pleasantly surprised. Figures that it didn't have nearly as much excitement around it as Twilight (where I live, at least.)

anyways, my friend got it at a book fair and let me borrow it. i liked t but nobody knew what it was, by the time the 3rd book came out everyone was twi-crazy -__-

Yeah, I know people who drove two hours to go see the movie... a bit much if you ask me, but I shouldn't talk because I'm going to do it when HP & the half blood prince comes out XD
I know! I think part of it might be that it was marketed as adult fiction (at least that's what i heard?) and adults are less likely to go fangirling over books / some teens are less likely to see it? Maybe, only thing I can think of. I kind of wish she would write a sequel because I really liked the first one, but I also kind of hope she doesn't because I'm afraid it won't measure up to the first.

Northern Minnesota (little town called Ely), but it might as well be Canada - last year for an April Fools joke the whole town pretended that Canada wanted extend their territory and add us too it, TV stations in Minneapolis reported on it and everything, thinking it was real. Hilarious.
And technically I'm only an hour each way from the theater, I just gave the round trip time XD
Me too! Crazy to think they're already to the 6th movie, I remember when the first book came out (my copy is practically in pieces, but I refuse to throw it away).

lol i actually a one of those "ive seen the movie" fans (ive read all of the books now... but i thought it was dumb before i saw the movie and realized i had stereotyped it. i borrowed my friends books, but i would definitely consider buying my own copies. good story.

yes it is, i think ive been to Minnesota before, but i cant recall it that well, must have been young, but ive been to more places in the states than in Canada haha, i want to go to Colorado though some day <3

Oh man, Colorado is awesome! I went there this spring and I loved it, plus the speed limits were really high, it was like driving on a roller coaster track with all the hills. I went skiing and though I was going to die... it was great fun =]

I originally was going to snowboard but I have less experience at it and my mom bet me that I couldn't keep up with her on skies so I had to prove her wrong... but I was glad I was skiing because those hills were insane!

I read the book in 2005 so I can understand the need for this.

Aw I wish I read twilight before it got popular but unfortunately I didn't until the movie started coming out.
My friend told me about it over the summer but I didn't have time to read it.
And then the movie came out and it was everywhere and everyone was telling me OMG you have to read it. And at 1st I was like OMG this twilight thing is getting annoying. And I wasn't sure if I was going to read it, so I didn't want to see the movie cuz I'm one of those people that believes in reading the book before seeing the movie (plus I found Kristen kind of annoying just from what I saw of her in the trailers.) But the 1st day of my Christmas brake I went to target and they where selling the books. So I figured what the hell and I ended up reading all of them plus the host within my brake.

i went "YES!!!" soo badly when you said you found Kristen annoying.. XD that made my day. she is one of my biggest pet peeves about the movie.

OMG thank you! Everyone's like but Bellas weird. Like that's a good excuse for why she plays Bella the way she dos. She's one of my biggest pet peeves too, I could barely get through the movie. You just made my day too. lol
I love the books iv already read them twice. I found Bella very relatable (especially her clumsiness, I got so many flashbacks of things I do, especially gym.) Guess that just confirms my weirdness even more. Joy! :rollseyes:
Yeah I liked the host. I love how she takes such common plots like an alien invasion and makes it so unique and realistic. Yes it was very well written, she's defiantly grown as a writer.

did you watch it in theaters?? cuz i did and she grr.. (this could sound weird unless u did see it in theaters but..) i found her lips very distracting. they looked patchy ect. and there were a lot of close ups which didnt help..
- i went to see Taken the other day at the theater and the main girl in that movie would have made an awesome bella. she looked the part was pretty but didnt have that snooty im better than you look : )

Her name was wanderer or Wanda for short. Yeah I love her too she's a grate character. she develops a lot in the story. I really hope she writes a second one.

like the "your eyes. ... do you wear contacts?- omg bad scene.. right before bella asked that they showed a close up of robbert's face and you could clearly see the coloured contacts XD i could have killed the editors for that one

omg its sooo true!!!! ugh!! i almost freaked out loud in the theater i was sooo mad! lol that sparkly-ness was suppose to be so bright and beautiful it should have been blinding >....< like a thousand diamonds shining in the sun : D but nooo.... *rolls eyes* they barly made it visible.

Haha yeah I know, I could barely see it on my crappy version. Whatever Robs not good enough to sparkle like Edward. 
And I'm so mad that they cut up the meadow scene that was one of my favorite parts, and plus that's the scene that Steph dreamed about that started it all. It was like the most important seen and they totally killed it.
And I didn't feel like there was much chemistry between them anyway. Maybe when they kissed there was slightly something there but the rest of the time I didn't feel that " OMG I cant live with out you".
Then again I didn't feel much from Kristin it the 1st place. I've liked her in other movies but she just didn't... work I guess in this one. she didn't seem like she had much emotion, it was almost monotone I guess you could say.

(i dont mind. i could rant for hours.) i was actually babysitting some kids on saturday (when the dvd came out) and they had the movie. so i re-watched it with them it almost killed me XD
it was really hard for me not to complain about the details while watching it. and believe it or not its worse the second time around.

Yeah I tried watching it a second time, thinking maybe it will get better, Yeah after 10 minutes I had to shut it of, I couldn't take it anymore. My friend said she's probably going to get it for her B Day and she said that we will sit there and analyze the entire movie. Which is something I'm looking flowered to cuz then I can get all my rants out. (and probably fined new ones.)
The only one I really liked was Tyler, I think he makes a really good Jacob. As soon as I saw him (after I got over the hole "its only the beginning of the movie and things are already annoying me) I was like OMG that's a lot like how I imagined Jacob.
And though the HP movies don't annoy me as much, i can actually enjoy them. I'm like this with them to, there where times when I was practically screaming at the movie screen, there was a point where my mom was like "Cristina shut up calm down" That's one reason why I'm kina glad I didn't see twilight in theaters.
I remember when I 1st saw Rob in the twilight trailers I saw like "WTF is Sedric doing in twilight?"

well.. actually. im one of those pathetic people who watched the HP movies before she read the book *looks guilty* i thought that HP was stupid. until i saw the movies. so after the 4th movie and listening to my one friend nitpick the details. i was like "give me the freaking book ima read them" holy shit man i read them all in a week! they were awesome
and from what i remember of the books compared to the movies i see the differences and sometimes they missed some stuff but they seam to catch up the details in the following movies and they stuck really close to the plot line and the characters were casted well and good acting ect. so i really enjoy them ^^

I liked the girl who played Alice to, and almost everyone I know loves the guy who plays Emmett. I liked the guy who played Jasper I just thought his hair was kina weird, not how I imagined it.
Dude iv been reading HP since I was 9. That book took up most of my childhood. Yes I thought that casting was really good, I thought they all fit the characters well. Yeah I keep telling my bro too read the books cuz he loves the movies, but he's always asking me questions, he's always like why did this happen why did that happen. I'm like dude read the books they explain it all. But he's one of those, why am I ganna read the books when I can see the movie, or he says he hates reading. :rolls eyes:
