Artist's Comment:

I fucking love crows, and they're so often associated with Halloween that this just had to happen, you know? lol!! My challenge for this piece was the bird legs. I've never really done full on bird legs before so this was really difficult. But I'm happy with them! I feel as if my efforts have paid off. This time around, I'm selling my Halloween adopts for $25 for every hour I spent drawing the character. I spent 5 hours on Murder, and though fair is fair, my Haunted Tree sold for much less than I believe him to be worth. So flat sale from now on.

Optional Backstory:

Murder, an aptly named assassin and mercenary for hire. He creeps along ledges, and silently moves through the shadows, because he IS the shadows. His arsenal of wepaonry is often untouched because he gets the job done very well with his trusty knife and his powers of shadowkinesis. However, having backup is always good, and it's why he's the best there is at what he does. He's young, and his charming smile makes him seem virtually harmless, but do not underestimate him.

Murder can produce wings made from shadows, and fly as quiet as an owl, maybe even quieter. He can divebomb into a dark area and be completely concealed. The last thing you see is his glorious golden irises.

Murder was once a member of a rather prestegious guild, where the best of the best grouped together for various purposes such as jobs that include robbery of royalty and nobility to give back to the poor, collecting large bounties, etc. But his morals and motives had always been something of a question mark. He very often put his own life and goals ahead of a team's and it cost many lives unnecessarily. He was booted after many chances, and realized that he does better on his own. He also likes not having to split profits. He likes to sneak around, hide in the shadows, and listen for jobs others in his line of work are taking, so he can do them himself and claim then rewards before they even have a chance to begin.

Because of his actions, he's got a bounty on his own head, and he's even collected it a few times by turning himself in and then escaping. Many recognize his skills and thusly hire him for
