Description All I can say is it’s fun to use!
This was pO62, a red orange custom mix, phthalo green bs, a blue violet custom mix, may green and rose of ultramarine. The six colors were mixed with a muted violet amethyst as a unifying or mother color.

The original palette swatches I worked are on my instagram:

It makes a pleasant muted yellow, red and blue. The “secondary” blue, for example, is a mix of pg7 phthalo green and a blue violet, which is an amazing blue. That’s a blue I would make a convenience mix of for myself!

Here’s more or less when I started playing with the split secondary

www.deviantart.com/xosem1000/a… . Almost a year later, I would recommend either custom mixes, or I would use the following:

Yellow orange PO62 or PY110
red orange shade PO73
red violet PR202 or DS rose of ultramarine or PV19 violet
Blue violet WN smalt blue or Van Gogh ultramarine deep
Blue green pg7 or a turquoise or teal
Yellow green may green or DS serpentine, maybe green gold although it is too yellow)

Qor high chroma is a similar split secondary set and I didn’t know that when I first started playing with these! I used to think it would complement a DS essential mixing set split primary well.
