Description
I've had this sitting around for a while now, and totally forgot to upload it. (I'm still not 100% sure how to spell this thing's name, so I went with the spelling I see most used by fans.) Anyway, this is "Oorotto" from Pokémon X and Y, a dark-looking Tree Pokémon. Once its official Sugimori art is revealed, it'll be interesting to see how close I was.

Note: The pre-evolution only evolves via trade but you can find them both. In the game. In different places. That's kinda funny. It looks good but I miss the feel of fear of it.

What is it with Nintendo and evil trees...? Are they trying to tell children that nature is turning against the human race and *punishing* it for what it has done...? First it's global climate change... and now... demon trees...? It may not be an original concept, but, that doesn't mean that it doesn't have potential.... It almost feels like the dark type Pokemon are misunderstood. Maybe they are trying to purge humanity and what it has done with technology. Maybe they are trying to form a new world with only nature and no humans. Dark type Pokemon might just possess idealistic natures.

Basing myself on Nintendo's top franchises. Zelda doesn't hold any "evil trees" in it, if anything, trees who actually assist the hero. Mario doesn't really have any, StarFox neither, Metroid, neither. Though Pokemon has had tree-based pokemons, Sudowoodo obviously isn't evil. Though, Shiftry may be dark/grass type. Creating chilly winds isn't what I'd call "evil".
The only "evil" tree I can think of from Nintendo is in the Kirby series.
So, I don't really see the connection between evil trees and Nintendo.

I was mainly connecting my comment to Pokemon, albeit an odd and limited choice. I have not played enough of Nintendo's other games, so perhaps my comment might have been out of place.... I was just trying to poke some nonsensical fun at the picture itself. I was not trying to be logical, per say. I appreciate your comment, none the less. Thank you.

That's fairly alright! Perhaps I rained on your parade by trying to put logic onto your joke, but as long as we're openly admitting our mistakes and not bashing on each other like wild animals, I find no harm on trying to poke some fun at the picture itself. Though, all this aside- you should try out some of Nintendo's other hits, I'm sure you'd enjoy them greatly if you're into a good fun game!

Nice! From the trailers I've seen, this looks bang on. Mind you, the official art has more detail... I hope it looks like this! Also, have you seen the new mega evolved pokemon? I think it would be awesome to see them in your poses...

Yeeeea, but in my opinion,Absol should stay a single evo pokemon. Sure it's stats are bad, but I'm pretty sure it's one of the only that didn't have an evo. It just feels wrong to get rid of that.
