I don't get why did they made shiny versions of Zekrom and Reshiram if you cannot capture them in their shiny appearances.

So the game wouldn't crash when someone (like me) encountered one with the shiny hack.

It won't crash, I have both shiny Zekrom and Reshiram, but I don't use them. I was thinking their shiny versions would have been given out through an event, but it never happened.
So at the moment, action replay is the only way I know to get their shiny forms, but since you still can't catch them normally in their shiny forms, the question remains, why did they make them?

I meant that they programmed the shiny palettes in so the game wouldn't crash if the game was hacked to make all encounters shiny, and the player encountered Zekrom/Reshiram. if they didn't put the shiny palettes in, a shiny Zekrom/Reshiram may have been invisible, if the game didn't crash trying to find nonexistent data.

Sheesh I KNOW its green because he's shiny but, I'm asking why would the designers make it or why is it green when... Nevermind.

I thought the blue stuff was the reflection of the light.

Great stuff! One of your greatest features in your art is your shading, and that really stands out here!

Do you use a lineart tool for your lineart? Or do you just make those line with the pen tool?

The outline is originally a sketch made in pencil that gets re-outlined in Very Fine Point Sharpie. After the sketch is scanned in, I use the Threshold tool to make the outline pure black and the background pure white.
If there are any fixes that need to be made, I use the Pen / Brush tool.

It looks really great, just like Reshiram.
Will you be doing a Kyurem v.3? Just asking.

Xous54 In reply to Kyuzeth [2011-07-23 15:00:35 +0000 UTC]
It depends on whether or not I can make a good enough sketch for it. I've tried, but I haven't been able to make a sketch that looks as good as my v.2 art for Kyurem.
So I'll probably end up just keeping Kyurem at v.2 for a while and focus on drawing other PokΓ©mon.
