I really don't have a justification for this one. One day, I was thinking about fancasting and suddenly, I was all "you know who could be a really good General Zod? Idris Elba!"Elba is a great actor who's no stranger to comic book and comic booky roles. And luckily, he seems to regard his career with no shortage of humor. So, no doubt he could bring something new to the role of General Zod.
And I say that as someone who thought Michael Shannon was the best General Zod ever.
