Description "Happy Birthday, Love!" Xpicallia awoke to her boyfriend's voice, cheerful and filled with excitement. Opening her eyes she saw his smiling face above her, holding a tray filled with breakfast. "Thank you, Love. Good morning." She smiled sleepily and began to stretch as she sat up. He placed the tray down in her lap and she saw her breakfast that he had prepared for her. Juice, pancakes, eggs, bacon, and toast. Her favorite. "Thanks!" she smiled and dug in with gusto as he sat next to her. He happily reached forward and ruffled her hair, chuckling at her. Her curly black hair was everywhere from sleep, the purple streak that normally traveled down the right side of her face was splayed across her head. Her teal eyes were half open and still a little crusty from sleep. She was happily inhaling her breakfast as she looked up at him. He had obviously been up for a while, as he was already showered and dressed. His long golden blonde hair was neatly brushed, his mismatched blue and green eyes happily gazing down at her from behind the brilliant strands.

It wasn't long before she had finished her meal and she had gotten up to go get showered and ready for the day. "Honey, where are the munchkins?" She called out to Kreeve, looking down at her body as she stepped from the shower. She had given birth to their triplets nearly a year ago and was still breastfeeding them, so after a full night's sleep her massively maternal breasts could definitely use a draining. "Oh, they are over at your mother's house for the day. She wanted to give you your birthday off." Kreeve called from the other room. "Great..." She said quietly to herself as she began tugging on her clothes. Her bra and tanktop, in her signature black and purple colors of course, were very tight across her chest. Her stomach had become flat once again, but her breasts and hips were definitely reminiscent of the triplets she had been overdue with just under a year ago.

She stepped out of their bedroom and found Kreeve waiting for her anxiously in the living room. He was standing there next to an old friend of their's, Kevin. Kevin was a genius inventor, building anything he had ever put his mind too, he was also best friends with another good friend of their's, Bobby. "Kevin!" X smiled and ran forward, hugging him. "Happy Birthday, X!" He smiled and gave her a hug. "What are you doing here?" She chuckled, he didn't exactly live close. "I had to bring you your present! I have been working on something I think the two of you will really like." He chuckled and excitedly led them into one of their spare bedrooms.

In front of them was a large device, it looked like a machine out of a cartoon or old movie. It had large metal seats, on either side of cylindrical device with tubes and lights coming from all around it. The seats were leaned back into a nearly laying back position and had caps for their heads at the top. The two metal devices for their heads were also attached to the machinery and had similar blinking lights and tubes coming from them. Xpicallia and Kreeve stood in awe at the strange machine before them. "What... What is it?" X turned to Kevin with a curious look in her eyes. He smiled and stepped forward, gesturing to the machine.

"I call it the Dream Device." He explained. "Essentially, you two will lay in these two seats and place the Dream Caps on your heads. You will fall asleep and you will both have a dream together. The dreams come from one or both of your subconscious minds. A secret fantasy, a curiosity, anything that your brain might have wanted to seen played out at any point. It will happen just like any non-lucid dream, you will be fully emerged in the world of the dream and not aware that you aren't in the real world. You will act as you see fit and when you awake, you will remember it like it was something that you actually experienced." He explained, very proud of his work. X was astounded by the very idea of it. "That is amazing! Thank you both so much!" X smiled and approached the machine.

Kevin smiled at her excitement. "I'll help you get set up, then I can head out so you both can try it out. It is super simple. Just lay down and put the caps on, then when you are comfortable, throw the switch right here and you should doze off and enter the dream. X and Kreeve got settled into their reclined chairs and got their caps on their heads. "I'll make sure it all seems to be working right and then i'll head out. Have fun you two. Oh, and don't forget. It's a dream so you might be any matter of being, so you may have to figure out who is who while you are in there. But I'm sure you'll be fine, I think some unique enough traits will probably be carried over." He smiled and flipped the main switch. Xpicallia reached over and held Kreeve's hand, blowing him a kiss as she felt her eyes grow heavy before she completely dozed off.

She opened her eyes to see the canopy of her regal bed billowing in the soft breeze. Looking over to her window, the rising sun was gently illuminating her bedchamber. As she sat up and began to stretch, she ran a hand over her bulging belly. A smile crossed her face as she felt it, giving a gentle pat as its occupant began to stir. She placed her feet on the ground as she heard a knock at the door. "Yes? You may enter." Her melodious voice rang out. The door slowly opened. "My Lady Xylla, good morning. I'm here to help you get ready for the day." The young maid curtsied before her. "Thank you Melanie." The maid came forward to help the gravid young woman stand up and to lead her into her bath chamber.

As they entered, Xylla stripped of her bed clothes and entered the tub of water. As she began to wash herself, Melanie began to wash Xylla's hair. "Oh my Lady, I've always been jealous of your hair. It's so curly and soft. And this purple streak is so unique!" Melanie fawned over Xylla's unique natural hair. "Well thank you. I have no idea how it turned out to be purple. Just lucky I guess." She smiled.

It wasn't long before the bath ended and Melanie began to get Xylla dressed. She was quickly draped in one of her elegant gowns, especially made for her current state. She looked lovely, dressed in her favorite colors, deep blacks and royal purples. As she walked out of her chamber, looking regal as ever, she went to the throne room in the front of the castle. Within, sitting there in all their glory, were the King and Queen of Wymborn. Or better known to Xylla herself, her parents. "Good morning." Came Xylla's chipper voice as she greeted her parents for the day. "Good morning, sweetheart." The Queen responded with a kiss on the cheek. "Good morning, Princess." The King added as he kissed her on the forehead. She made her way to her smaller throne which next to her parent's larger one.

Today was a big day, her betrothed and his family were coming to prepare for their wedding that night. Xylla had met the Prince a few times before, the last time was months ago when they... Xylla ran a hand across her swollen middle once more, remembering the last time she had seen her betrothed. And she had only seen his parents once, on the day that their marriage had been set in motion. Her parents had arranged a marriage between her and a Prince of a very powerful kingdom, cementing their alliance. However, the King and Queen of the Sky Empire requested that they confirm their ability to produce children before they could be wed. Not wanting to deny the request of such a powerful kingdom, especially one they want to be allied with, the Prince and Princess did their best to conceive an heir. They met a few times to try, the wedding date being set once the Princess began to show signs of new life beginning to grow within her.

Often times, political marriages were looked at with a negative light, but the Prince and Princess had become very smitten with one another. All the preparations had been set, and Princess Xylla couldn't be more excited for her wedding day. She had been thinking about her wedding since she was a little girl, of course the pregnancy hadn't been in the plan she dreamt up when she was 6, but it didn't lessen her excitement even slightly. Her royal tailor had been working with her to create the perfect gown, fit for a precious, perfect, pretty, pregnant, Princess. She sat patiently, the King, Queen, and Prince were set to arrive just after the sun had fully risen. Then a day of preparation, followed by the big ceremony that night.

The sky suddenly grew dark, signaling the arrival of the Royal Family of the Sky Kingdom. Princess Xylla could barely contain her excitement as she followed her parents to the grand balcony where her husband-to-be and his family would be landing. They stepped out into the light to welcome their guests, as they looked up they saw three mighty dragons descending from the sky. Xylla's heart began to flutter with excitement as she saw them. As the three of them touched down gracefully there was a blaze of fire as they transformed into three magnificent looking humans.

"On behalf of the Kingdom of Wymborn, we welcome the Royal Family of the Sky Kindgom." The King announced, walking forward to shake the hand of the Dragon King. The three of them looked mostly human in these forms, but there was still an air of power and mystery about them. Their eyes were bright and shining, with slightly slit pupils. The King, who was a menacing looking charcoal colored dragon, had the human appearance of a seasoned but powerful warrior, his eyes a blazing red. The Queen was a majestic and regal looking alabaster dragon, who had brilliant ice blue eyes and bright white hair, in contrast to her husband's which was as black as midnight. Behind them was their fiery son, the man that Xylla had been waiting for, Prince Kyzix. He was a robust and powerful beast, with blood colored scales that reflected the light in way that gave off the appearance of flames. His human form was a man of powerful stature, with mismatched eyes, one in an emerald green and the other in a deep sea blue. He had long flowing hair, with mixed oranges and yellows, maintaining the feeling of a fiery aura about him.

The dragons shook the human's hands and went back into the throne room. Prince Kyzix hadn't seen his betrothed for nearly three full months and his eyes widened in surprise at how much her belly had grown in that short time. As soon as they reached the throne room he pulled her into his strong arms and let his hand glide lightly across her bulging middle as he did so. She was progressing extremely quickly, but this wasn't too much of a shock when you considered that the father of her child was a dragon. There had long been a prophecy that only those of chosen blood could bear the child of a dragon, which explained the desire for the royal family of the Sky Kingdom to ensure the Prince's marriage to a human would provide heirs. The legacy of the Wymborn family had been that their most prominent ancestor had been a savior and friend to the ancient dragons, which gave their family the dragon's blessing that ensured strength and luck to all of their descendants.

As the King and Queen of both kingdoms talked and made sure of the plans for the royal wedding that night, the Prince and Princess were lead to another chamber to begin their preparations. They had only a brief moment to themselves to talk. "...Hello Kyzix." Xylla blushed slightly, looking down at herself. "Xylla... I have missed you so much. It has been too long since we were together." Xylla only blushed harder. "I have missed you too. I think our child knows you are here. I have felt a lot of activity since you returned." She smiled, placing her hands on her mid-section to try and calm the movement from within. He reached forward slowly and gently, placing his hands fully on his fiancée's belly. He felt the movements from inside her, smiling at the antics of his child.

"Calm down in there, my wyrmling. You are causing your mother some trouble. After tonight we will all be together, always." He smiled, placing his ear to her belly. Xylla blushed even more red as he stood and pulled her in close. "I will never leave you again, these few months have been difficult on the both of us... Or should I say," he glanced down at her belly which he was still holding, "On all of us. But after tonight, we will be a family. All together. I have been building us a house among the clouds. I designed it just for us... And our many children." He explained with love in his voice as he held her close against him with one hand as the other was still gently massaging her belly.

They were only able to enjoy their moment together for a short time, as the royal assistants came through the doors and led them to their separate rooms to get ready for their wedding. It was customary that they not see one another during wedding preparations until they met at the alter. They had a short kiss goodbye and were lead away from one another. It felt like an eternity apart to both of them, they had only just been reunited and this had been the first time that the Prince had been near his unborn child, but they would have their forever together after their ceremony that night. They spent the day getting ready, the assistants doing everything in their power to make them look perfect and prepared for their big night.

Once the time had finally arrived, the wedding began. A toddler from each kingdom was sharing the role of the Flower Girl, sprinkling the ground with petals that were native to each kingdom. The human's petals were a delicate and beautiful lilac, mixed with the contrasting dragon's petals that seemed to have colors that danced in the light, mimicking a gentle flame. The music began to play to signal the arrival of the bride and all eyes turned to the grand doorway where she would make her entrance. Prince Kyzix tried to remain aloof and hide his excitement as he stood and waited.

A hush fell over the room as she stepped into view, one arm linked with her father's. She looked magnificent. Her hair was styled up, her magnificent curls falling beautifully in a way that framed her gorgeous face. The regal white dress she wore had rubies sewn into it that danced in the many sparkling lights. Her silhouette was immaculate and her belly was beautifully presented in form fitting material. She had a long veil that trailed behind her, the brilliant white fading into yellow, then orange, then red, representing her powerful husband to be.

Her heart began racing as soon as she saw Kyzix which sent her baby into a frenzy of movement. She pondered for just a moment, wondering if anyone could see the strong kicks coming from within her, as her dress was so perfectly sized to her body it was as if it was a second satin skin. As she reached the alter and her father gave her to the Prince and stepped away to take his seat, her betrothed immediately took her hands in his and whispered only loud enough for her to hear, "You look stunning, my prin-- My Dragon Queen." She blushed once more as the ceremony began. It wasn't long before they were pronounced husband and wife. Everyone cheered as Prince Kyzix pulled her close, dipping her with one strong arm wrapped around the small of her back and the other resting on the side of her belly, the two of them feeling how active their child inside her was. They shared their first married kiss, both of them light pink in the cheeks as their families and friends clapped for them. Traveling back down the aisle, arms wrapped around each other, they made a stop at the balcony so those from their kingdoms who had gathered could see that the ceremony had taken place and the alliance of the two kingdoms was cemented. After standing and waving for a time, they returned back inside for their reception.

All in all it was a wonderful day for all of them, the highlight coming when the sun began to set and it was time for Xylla to travel to her new home, she said goodbye to her tearful parents, promising to return soon. She flew off into the sky, gently encased in her husband's enormous scaly claws as he flew them to their new home. It was nestled upon a great cloud within sight of the royal dragon castle. Kyzix had built them an enormous castle of their own, with three floors and several enormous bed chambers that she only imagined were for the many children that the two of them would have together.

It seemed like time had been passing so quickly, it wasn't long before they had been married for 6 months. If Xylla's belly had been large before, it was gigantic now. They really had no idea what to expect seeing as no one knew of any half-dragons existing before. It was apparent that she wasn't going to lay eggs, they could feel too much movement from the beginning for that to be the case. But dragons were born in clutches, so no one was sure what or how many could be in that swollen Princess. She had reached her 9th month of pregnancy and her belly was too large for her to reach her hands around. She couldn't see the front of her belly at all and she hadn't seen her feet in months. Kyzix had, on multiple occasions, tried to listen to his wife's belly and count the heartbeats, but they were so fast he couldn't tell them apart. So they knew they were probably having around four at the minimum, and they believed they would be in a human form. They didn't know if they would be able to transform or how dragonlike they would be either, it was all a waiting game.

The only thing that Xylla was sure of, was she ready to birth these little wyrms. She was laying on the couch, belly resting heavily on her legs as Kyzix massaged her shoulders. "Oh my love, how I can not wait to meet our brood. I feel they are growing stronger with each passing day." She smiled and ran her hands across her bare belly. None of her dresses fit her anymore, so she had taken to cutting the mid section out of some of her clothing and wearing it like a very short top and a long skirt. "Oh I feel exactly the same way, my sweet. Alas, we must have patience yet. But they will be worth the wait I'm sure." He nodded, still focusing on massaging her shoulders.

Xylla was very confused, she was 9 months along, weren't they to arrive any day? "...What do you mean we must still have patience yet?" She asked, trying to keep the surprise out of her voice. "Well, I know we've been patient thus far, but we still may have a long while to go." He shrugged. "I remember my mother telling me that her first pregnancy was long overdue. Apparently me and the rest of my clutch were slow to be lain. She didn't feel us descending to be lain for close to 2 full years rather than the usual 18 month gestation." He laughed lightly, finding the memory quite humorous. The color drained from Xylla's face. "Eig.... Eigh... EightTEEN months?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Kyzix suddenly realized what must be going on. "Oh.. Are.. Uh.. Are human pregnancies.. Shorter than that?" He tried to chuckle to diffuse the situation. Xylla fainted back against the couch out of sheer disbelief.

When she opened her eyes again, Xpicallia found herself laying in her Dream Device, Kreeve waking up beside her. "So, did you enjoy yourself, Princess?" Kreeve laughed. X began laughing right along with him. "That dream could have been so normal if you hadn't decided to be a dragon!" She laughed harder. "Yeah... My dreams are kinda... Weird like that." He shrugged and they stood up together, still laughing. This new toy was going to be a lot of fun.
