dang I saw one once but it had a horses head on it it was really cheap looking I want a a beautiful one, and I want a top hat too, I'd love to be looking like a victorian Gentleman ^^

When you focus on things like that, do you use a program to blur everything else afterwards? Or is it just like the zoom on the camera etc etc when you actually focus on the watch?

It's not a dumb question 
You can blur the background afterwards in Photoshop for example, but from experience I can say that it doesn't turn out that good if you do. On all SLR-cameras you can change the focal length manually which decides how much light will flow in to the camera when it takes the picture (I suck at explaining 
So, to sum it up, you can blur the background in a computer program, but the results are much better if you let the camera do the work for you.
