Description Inspired by [link] deviation on centaurs. I'm trying something new. I have no idea if the body anatomy of a horse is correct but I had fun with this.

You know... you rarely see female centaurs... or children... wonder why?

I didn't know that. I don't go around looking for centaurs.

Very nice!
Horse legs are a little different than humans, most notably on the rear knees, which are sort of inverted. Also, the belly is lower in the front and higher towards the rear. Just google horses and copy. Google is the most invaluable tool for any artist!

Thanks for the critique. I see what you are talking about. I've never drawn one before and probably won't again but it was fun to experiment and to know the changes to make if I do decide to draw a centaur again.

Your very welcome.
Keep your mind open to it. If you know how to draw everything, you can draw anything. A wise man said that once. Who was it, now? Oh yeah! It was me!

I definitely will carry that piece of advice around with me. I guess I have gotten to stuck in my "only draw women" routine. You're are right that if I try to draw everything I can draw anything. It's a beautiful concept.
