I would love to see you draw sometime! The pencil work is really aggressive where theres detail and super soft where theres solid color. I know you use water color pencils but do you go over with water after having drawn out your design? It seems like you do, but I'm just asking. Thank you for making beautiful work!

well,usually no.I dont do brushwork with the watercolor pencils,i blend using a blending pencil,almost all the times when doing a portrait i am working skin texture and details as a basis,then i apply the color layers and start the shading,covering partially the original skin texture,but its always somehow apparent.
I love the skin texture.It takes too much time to build but i think its worthing.

That was actually in a way reassuring since I never have any idea what i'm doing when i work with the watercolor pencils and your style to mine is something similar and it looks like it works. You of course do it better than I do and we'll always have different styles in part, but they are kind of alike.. Thank you for the reply! You do some awesome work

its not very big dear,its A4 size.But i ll give you a hint if you are interested in realistic drawing.The more space you have available,the more details you can fit into it.If you consider A4 as a small size then you need to make a comparison according to your subject
Meaning there was enough room for details
Now if i was drawing the same ref into a canvas 1m it would be much more detailed.Understand?You always need to compare your ref to the size of your paper/canvas.
