Description Taken: February 1, 2005 (or near to that date, my memory of these dates is not perfect)

It was taken in a set of color and black and whites for my initial portfolio extensions of high quality digital media. Granted now that camera's pretty outdated, only 3.2 mpxls.. The one I use now has 6.1 (or.2) but I'm looking for something with even high definition for landscaping shots and what not.. But I suppose the lower definitions work fine for close ups, or close subjects! They aren't even bad with scenery if the lighting's right

I agree with others that you accentuated your facial features quite well here--which, given the rather striking pose and figure, is quite an accomplishment. I can see why Ricardofantasyart encouraged you to do stock-modeling, and he did quite well to make use of this (with your permission). Very nice look!

thank you ! Rich is an amazing person, and his artwork is a reflection of those qualities. I appreciate the deeper comment towards the picture from you as well, I just hope the quality keeps up over time. It's harder and harder to find something that screams original!

You're welcome. And, for my dime, screaming is over-rated. A strong, steady whisper of originality is what I prefer...

! What a beaut! Good shot! On a side note, I think this would make a cool stock pic. I could see you here as a vampires or even a female warrior with that great stare! Nice work...

I have no idea how to make stock photo's available. I had someone ask if I did it, and I have no problem with people using my pictures/artwork/photography for stock if they want. But I know many people do separate accounts for it. So I dunno.

Either way you

You're welcome ! I am not sure how stock accounts work on dA, but I do notice that they are mostly separate accounts. But there are a few people who add stock pics to their existing account and just add "stock" the the title of the piece.

I think you'd make a fine stock model. You really have a beautiful face and a lovely figure. All you would have to decide is which kind of stock pics you would want to post, like action, mythical, princess, etc. props and costumes would be cool, but no really necessary. A good artist will be able to add all that to your pictures. For example, a broomstick works fine to substitute as a sword...

xSerenax In reply to Ricardofantasyart [2006-12-07 21:06:53 +0000 UTC]

I'll have to look into that - I actually want to expand the pictures myself to different options of these kind... Like mythical and fantasy.. I have a lot of different things available to me if I ask - a few swords, firearms, and I own horses - plus I live in a nice country area with a lot of pretty views and such - so it's getting the props and the photographer. Which I'm also hoping to work on - for DA as well as my own website. I like to push home imagination and originallity since... I'm a dreamer

Hooray!!! I hope you do! That would be sweet! Except for the cold winters, it must be gorgeous in living in the country...!

You know, I never rode a horse (The pony I rode at the Bronx zoo at 6 years old doesn't count...! ), but maybe one day I will be able to when I have time. I've been meaning to take riding lessons, but damn time factor...!

Firearms and weapons are another matter. While I am essentially a man of peace, I have a warrior's spirit. I trained in the use of weapons like classic swords, blades, staves, and whatnot in high school. I've also fired a few guns at the firing range. Interestingly, I don't own a gun anymore since moving to California. In NYC, it was a different story... I basically trained in the martial arts to defend myself, but did find myself providing good offense every now and then...!! I lived in a rough neighborhood and had to; otherwise KAPUT...!

xSerenax In reply to Ricardofantasyart [2006-12-08 18:31:25 +0000 UTC]

I've been around firearms all of my life, I learned how to shoot a weapon at the age of 8, predominantly hand guns because rifles have too much kick for me. In the military, I was in the army reserves, I learned to shoot the m16a1... But really am not very impressed with it, and would perfer a pistol style anyday. My accuracy on the weaponeer with the m16 was 38/40 but on the range and nervous it was 28/40. I wasn't very impressed with that performance, but stress and I never went well. I'd have loved to be a sniper, but the army doesn't allow women to be snipers due to the combat orientation of the job - which I totally agree with. It's bad enough war still exists, but sending both men and women to their death is truly far from civilized. Many women would argue that in order for a woman to be equal to a man in that aspect she must fight and die beside him - I just think women would create a distraction unnecessary to the situation, and furthermore give the enemies an uperhand when it comes to torture and destruction of the human mind if men are seeing women defiled before them - because human beings are usually far from humane

I believe in peace, but I believe the path to peace doesn't happen like a light switch. In order for peace one must prepare for war, whether it's with your hands, or with a weapon to put you on equal grounds. Furthermore I feel a lot safer entrusting my life to my own actions, then to the actions of our wonderful "police officers" who are usually more corrupt then the mafia themself. At least the mafia has some form of honor.

But... that's just my opinion.

The fact that you're trained in weapons, and martial arts just makes you that much more bad ass Mix that with the new york accent... well I won't say anymore because I'll get myself in trouble

! A former military, gun-toting warrior-babe! Are you sure you're not a guy playing a joke on me... ? (Just kidding...) While I was never in the military, I have much luv and respect for the kids who volunteer and do thier duty. It is not their fault that faulty leadership exists. They do what they are trained to do and do as best as they can under the most difficult circumstances sometimes (like actual, intense combat missions) .

By the way, I agree with your opinions completely! The weapons, defending oneself, everything!! Women and men are equal by-and-large, but certain circumstances merit differential treatment of the sexes to accomodate certain task. That's not sexism, just common sense. Besides, personally speaking, I would be totally distracted to have a babe next to me in battle...No offense. I am not a sexist; just a caveman!!

You could say I am a veteran of the War of the Streets. I tell ya, some of the crap I saw growing up was so "normal" to me that I didn't know the actual depth of dangers we faced 'til I moved to a more 'stable' area. Don't get me wrong; I trained to defend myself and did what I had to do to survive, but it wasn't 'til later that my sister and brothers spoke and said "Damn, we actually saw bodies thrown off of roofs, junkies shooting up, gang shootings, we're involved in gang skirmishes at one point, etc. !! What kind of crap was that for a 10 year old to see?" It was almost surreal. I tell you something, though; it always cracks me up seeing suburbanite kids around my current neighborhood trying to act "street" !! Bunch of poor, misguided phonies looking to prove something...

Thanks! I bow to your graciousness, once more . I am a street-smart, warrior-poet, martial artist-artist/painter with a kind heart and mean streak when provoked by bad guys!! What can I say...?
