Well that a very intresting question,but I think both yes and no acutally. If you have seen the anime/read the manga she is weldis one in the flashbacks. But I think when she left Soul socitey she decided to abandon it/not use it anymore. Cuz she seems prefer hakuda ( hand-to-hand combat ) more that use a zanpakuto..and she was the former commander of the Onmitsukidō after all and members there use hakuda alot.. And Her clan famous for thier shunko/shunpo based moves so yea..
