Yaay, I finally decided to give this character a proper reference. She deserves it - after all she's very important character from my fantasy universe - this one I was talking about in there: fav.me/dce4nhl .

My inspiration for creating Nordgrethea was kinda weird. Because well, one day someone said something about me liking my OC Mira so much, that I'll start a cult one day. And then I was like "You think so? Okay, let's make her a goddess now ". She was created to make fun with my friends, then I kinda forget about her, and then I suddenly remembered her, and decided to make some changes and use her again in a fantasy story. So yep, there she is.

This is like third design for Nordgrethea I ever created. At first, she was human - like - a tall, beautiful woman with unnatural glowing eyes and long black hair with some white strands. And I still use this design as her human form (which I won't probably draw often, simply because I find the other form more interesting, and I suck at drawing people XD). But when I decided to put her in my fantasy universe, I realized it doesn't make much sense for her to be human - like. So then she became some kind of fancy looking wolf - fox hybrid with long mane. And she was like that until some days ago, when I realized that it's still not good design for a powerful creature like that. I mean... She still looked too normal, and I wanted something that looked like it doesn't belong to this world.
So, I changed her again. This time I was trying to make something that can look beautiful and majestic, but also weird and kinda scary sometimes. It fits her well, as a powerful creature with almost god - like powers, and also fits her personality - because she tries so hard to be perfect, but eves she can't be. So, I made her more dragon like, while keeping some of her wolf - like features and added multiple eyes. And then kinda decided she should have multiple rows of sharp teeth and three tongues just to creep out her enemies when she gets angry XD

She's an ancient magic creature, in the past worshipped by some as a goddess of magic, but now kinda forgoten by most of the civilizied species of Earth. Some legends says that she was the one who gifted some people with magic powers, and she's supposed to be a creator of the guardian of Earth, the creatures which only purpose is to protect the mortals. She usually say, that she's just a guardian, protecting the magical balance and the life itself from the dangers from the other worlds. Nordgrethea in known as one of the most powerful of those mysterious beings, and also as one of the most blilliant ones. She also created the beautiful palace, protected from the mortal creatures and the beasts from other worlds, where she lives with the others like her. Her last great success was defeating her sister, Gedrae, who declared a war againts her, and was a treath both for her, and the world itself. But, this victory came with unexpected complications.

She's not evil, or heartless, but she isn't the best and most merciful of them all neither. In the past Nordgrethea proved, that she would easily sacrifice someone or do something inmoral if it would help her with her plans. She wants to protect the world, but she thinks that the safety of the entire universe is a lot more important than a life of a single creature, so if someone would have to suffer in order to keep the magical balance, she'll allow that. Nordgrethea seems cold and calculating, and rarely express any kind of emotions - because for her they're not important for someone like her, and she doesn't really understand them. It's a thing only for mortal creatures, she thinks. Kind of a weakness. She's really a genius, when it comes to coming up with a complicated strategies, but she's not able to understand people. She's also very prideful and likes to be in control over everything, and she really hates when her plans fail. Nordgrethea sure is very charismatic - and the fact almos nobody rebelled agoint her yet proves that. She's really conflicted character - for someone she'll be a hero, for another a cruel tyrant. But well, humans would have even more difficulties when trying to understand her, than she has when she's trying to understand them.

Her powers seems unlimited by anything than herself - because she really puts a lot of restrictions on herself because of the magical balance, which could be destroyed by too much power. She'll avoid using ful of her powers until she doesn't have a choice. She tends to have more control over the "higher" kind of magic - basically everything more complicated than the powers of elements and the primal chaotic energy. She has the ability to turn into human, but she rarely do that. And she also can turn into something like a pure magical energy. It was actually her original form, but, just like the others, she actually prefers to have a physical body. Nordgrethea is basically immortal, at least in the terms of time - because she could be wounded or killed by a being like her. And if it even happens, someone would have to take her place by absorbing her energy - because in this world magic can't just simply disappear when once released, and the magical balance has to be kept all the time, or the life will be destroyed.

In her normal form she's really huge - she's much taller than a regular person while standing. But, she can change her size if she wants. Her eyes are glowing all the time, the intensity of the light depends on her condtion - if she's weakened, it glows weaker etc. Her mane is made of strange, thick hair, and it's almost always floating around her head, even without any wind. It it doesn't, its hanging on the right side of her head.
She wears her golden armor almost all the time. It's main purpose isn't protecting her physically, but rather creating a magical shield around her entire body.
Nordgrethea tends to move gracefully and act like a royalty, unless she's fighting - then she's more like a fierce monster.

It's hard to talk about her relations with anybody, simply because she doesn't treat others like a human would, and she doesn't think about them as people normally do. But, it's clear that she doesn't like Snowflake, who is like a personal failure for her. But, she has to tolerate her because of her new role.

Okay... It was long X'D So... Have Nordy I guess (I like to call her Nordy someimes X'D).
