The Library of CongressWashington, DC
The Library of Congress is the largest library in the world, with millions of books, recordings, photos, maps and manuscripts in their collections. The Library's mission is to support the Congress in fulfilling its constitutional duties and to further the progress of knowledge and creativity for the benefit of the American people.
Haven't been able to get out much since moving to the area, but got a little time over spring break to do some exploring with a bunch of tourists - aka, my family.

September SplendorIt is hard to believe September is already one-third over, and the trees are changing colors again. I hope you can find time to enjoy the beauty of nature a few times before the weather gets cold and the season of artificial busyness gets you crazy. I am happy that I have at least 2/3 of my Christmas shopping done, and my library fractal display is back home, for it was not, apparently, the right time for people to think of buying art. So please, visit the pages of these fellow artists, and maybe, just maybe, suggest one for a DD (sorry, I snuck in one that already has a weekly DD, the fourth here), and maybe even treat yourself with some beauty for your wall. Yeah, I highly doubt that congress is using this place to do any of that. Hell, with the crap they pull these days, I wonder if any of them can read. Oh well, their stupid actions will be recorded there anyway, so let's hope the next gen reads about them and fixes their mistakes.(Plus. I really think the US government and bureaucracy needs to be wiped clean and restarted from scratch.)
