ok so now its finally done, dlokzstudio.com is now online. check the site here [link]design brief:
the client wanted to have a website that will emphasize their primary service which is wedding photography and videography. so i focused on that, used subtle colors so that photos will be more prominent than the layout itself but still have a good layout and since the client keep on saying that they wanted almost every photo that they took uploaded to this site.
i also used a slideshow for every page so that the viewer will already have a preview of the images the studio can produce even if they dont visit the studio's showcase...

I like the general styel of the page.
here's a list of ideas i, personaly would try out, to see how they look:
make the girl look inside the page, and move her to the left
remove the bevel from the logo
put some text inside the photo - it looks a bit boring
make the titles a tad larger or bolder
make the menu a bit more noticable
remove the crystal lamp from the background - leave it black
perhaps you could make the letters in the menu white and put them on top of the photo

point taken, just forgot to mention that the image is just a place holder for a slideshow. just to make the feel of the actual site i put some photo.
with regards to the logo im still trying some other color to make it standout or something...

i think the sky thinggy doesnt match the earth colors. un lang... other than that this looks pro pre!
