Another Batman poster that i just made.Fun trying to see how Hugh Laurie from FOX's House MD show would look as The Riddler. Im going to try and make a poster where he is The Mad Hatter, but had to try this one first.

I think House would be a good Riddler for the Nolan version of Batman. I loved Jim Carry because that was more of a comedy movie. Nolans are dark and kind of depressing. But... I have always seen The Riddler as an eccentric kind of villain. The kind that like to pick fun at other people. Well thats my thoughts on the Riddler situation. I'll still love whoever is chosen to portray him.
(Except Eddie Murphy hes way too comediany)

know what you mean. in my eyes the joker was done so perfectly, that the riddler has to be something quite special and unexpected.. as perhaps hugh laurie could bring to the part

oooo! I know. they're signed to do a batman 3 and if they get someone to replace the old joker i will be pissed! no one else in the world could bring back what Ledger did! it's just not possible!

At first I couldn't see him as The Riddler either.
But after seeing one particular episode where he plays REALY mean, it blew me away. But I guess whe won't know untill the movie happens

House as Riddler? Whatever floats your boat. I think that whoever plays him should be a genius psychopath that DOESN'T or ISN'T Marylin Manson.

hehe.. if could have cast the role, i would have given it to johnny depp. I was just watching a house episode when he was in a cruel, simply evil way.And you can't help truly enjoy the acting from him.
And remember that many of the most imressive role interpretations come from actors who you did not believe could do a good job. But I understand truly well what you mean.
For me the riddler has to be a psychological evil genius.Not a crazy guy, but portrayed like Robin Williams did his role in One Hour Photo.

thank you.. I think he would too. My was Johnny Depp, but i think "House" could maybe be even more persvasive( don't now if that was spelled correctly but anyway....) as a madman.
My view is that if Nolan makes another Batman movie and put's in The Riddler, he would wan't a more psychological thriller interpretation of him.
What do you boys and girls think? Would we see a calm "in the background" genius, who leaves clues? Or a interpretation like Jim Carrey in Batman Forever..?????

I agree, otherwise people want to see a more serious, psychological Riddler in the sequel more than Jim Carrey's interpretation of the Riddler.
