This is some new stuff of mine, im kind of statisfied, it worked out well i guess.Tools used:
3DsMax R3
Photoshop 7
Music: Aphex twin --> ambient works (which this is named after)

This is a bloody superb Vector, but I also love the way you have intergrated the track 'Xtal' into the name of the piece- v. well done indeed!!!
Another subtle reason I like this piece of work is that any true Rich D fan would be able to tell that its inspiration lies in a song by 'The Twin', altough, unlike most Aphex pieces on this site it doesn't contain the Aphex Twin insignia...
One small criticism I would make though, is that this piece is quite complex, of which 'Xtal' is not.

damn, je werk is echt goed, 3e piece die ik nu zie en deze is weer super. De mix van 2d en 3d vind ik hier geweldig. Font had je meer mee kunnen doen misschien. De lijnen van de letters aan elkaar maken ofzo. Maar man toch, wat een lekker stijl!

wow beautiful work to be all done monochromatically (cept for the highlight text). seems like you really know what ur doing when you move from 3DS to photoshop. this is a gorgeous piece, im sure it looks amazing in print. reminds me of some of the work mike young has done the way youve used the 3D in only a minimal way... almost as if it could have been done solely with illustrator. well done. inspiring even
