Sherlock Holmes and Tintin have been my two main favorite books since I was a child, and I'm so glad to see such a talented artist as you to be in love with those two awesome fandoms. I hope you do more Holmes fanarts soon. Can you please draw some Holmes fanarts with Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes? I personally love/prefer the Granada series and Mr. Brett as Holmes although Benedict Cumberbatch is quite good too.

Sherlock and Tintin are such classics in their respective genres. You really can't go astray with those two.
I enjoyed Basil Rathbone myself. But my guilty pleasure Sherlock actor is actually Rupert Everett. Don't judge me! XD

- Oh, Basil Rathbone and Rupert Everett are quite alright too. Everybody has their own favorite actor as Holmes.
By the way, what did you think of Robert Downey Jr. as Holmes in the 2009 movie? I personally just couldn't see him as the iconic detective. I have nothing against Downey as an actor, but he was not Sherlock Holmes to me at all.

I watched the first half, but then I kind of got bored with it.
I mean, it felt like there was too much of a focus on the grungy Victorian era as opposed to the mystery and Holmes and Watson's friendship.
It was far too Hollywoodised.
A good movie, nonetheless. I just couldn't get past the fact that it didn't remind me of anything Sherlock. They would have done better to make it a separate entity from the franchise and stick an original label on it or something.
