My Zelda OoT contest piece, finally done. I'm tired now...Prismacolors, 11"x14" paper, and X-million hours of work.

Came out ok, but it took too darned long to do. I need more coloring speed.

When I saw this picture in the fanart contest I really liked it, but the only thing that drew my eyes from it was Epona's shoulders looking too much like a man's shoulders/arms. But I see you already addressed that with another person a couple comments down about how when you edited or something it took on a humanity form or something. Other than that, I like this piece. Really nice.

I am surprised to. The people I'd have chosen as winners and stuff is different. Shoot, the person I thought was going to win didn't even get in the top 30! Wow. Of course she judged by what she preferred, not just an artistic talent/etc. Which is fair and just and all lol That was a fun contest though even if we didn't win.

I reallllly love this, epecialy the coloring.. but on Epona just a suggesty... the forshortening and proportion is wrong. You should be able to from the angle see her behind and the sides of her belly. The eyes should be hardly visable cause horses weirdly see on the sides rather then forward. Than again it might just be your style and if that be the case just ignore little ol me

OK, I'll confess now, I'm not a big horse person. I know what you're saying with the eyes, and I was shooting for that. You may notice that they are more rounded on the outside edges. Though, I do think the slight repositioning gives her a little factor of humanity. In terms of her rump, I thought about that part too, and I got a little confused on it. Because you notice that Link blocks a lot of the view, and there is the slightly visible saddle in the way too. So between those two factors, I decided I would skip that.
