I can't Stop Drawing NNG art lately hahaFor anyone who doesn't know, Naruto Next Generation belongs to *E-vay - everyone in the picture belongs to her!
I think i may have started drawing this while on a sugar rush myself haha. It's just a bunch of randomness/homage to the wonderful E-vay.
I was talking with another deviant some time ago about how wonderful the next generation characters are because E-vay gave us two things with them 1) the lovely kids and 2) the fun of having the original characters as adults. I can go through endless hilarious situations with these guys and their parents, and it never gets old!
For example, getting to make fun of Isamashii just like i would his dad (Sasuke) haha. And Ando, my honey bear, being....a pure product of his mother (Ino) here <3
And i got to draw Fox again! I love her character design, it's so perfect. I'm really amazed at how well E-vay was able to keep the same sort of style as the show while making all new outfits. I do not have that much creativity, unfortunately haha

I know I do man seeing them in your new style er not new but improved since the years and your amazing marker work 8> might I ask what kind of paper and inking pens do you use for when you ink and color your work? Just thought I should ask since you make everything so nice and clean! also love just how random everyone is

For paper i just use my notebook, which is called Strathmore Sketch. It's 100 pages and has a brown cover, if you go looking for it. But I'm normally not that specific with what notebooks i get. I just go to an art store and make sure it's Acid Free sketch paper.
for tracing I switch between two different types of pens, which you can get at Hoppy Lobby and probably other arts/craft stores (i got mine at Sam Flax. I think it's local, but I'm not sure. The only one i've been to is in Orlando, but if there are more, they are awesome and have a great copic marker collection!).
The first are a set of four pens by Faber-Castell called 4 PITT artist pen's in sepia. The color is a really dark brown, which, unless you use black right next to it, looks pretty black to me. I use it for most of my pictures, and my guess is no one particularly notices. Sometimes i use both black and sepia, like in my picture Mine_1,000 watchers. I used the sepia pens for the skin and black for the clothing. I favor these because the four pens are in four sizes, so if i have very small detail, i can trace it without worrying about the pen being too thick because the smallest one is smaller than the size of my mechanical pencil lead (0.5-0.7)
The two black pens i use are thicker, so i don't use them as much for fear of messing up small details, but if I draw a big picture, like this one, i will use them because i like how black makes the color pop. So for this picture i used a Pigma Micron 08 in 0.5 line width. Then i have one with a brush tip that i use to fill in large black areas since i don't have a black marker. It's called Pigma Brush.
You could just as easily buy a set of black pens in different sizes if you like black better, but i can't afford everything i want haha so i just got .5 because for me, that is a good average tracing pen size. Some people prefer smaller tho. And you could use any pen/brush to fill in your black areas. Just don't use sharpie pens. I used to use the fine point ones for tracing, but copic markers smear them sometimes. Copics won't, or shouldn't, smear your lines if you use tracing pens.
For coloring, i use copic markers :> unfortunately theyre pretty expensive, but that is because they are pure amazingness. They color like watercolor paint, so they blend very well. I got my collection over a period of time because i buy them pen by pen. I normally get like 5-7 at a time (they are 7 dollars each). They do sell small sets of the same amount, so you could get 6 flesh tones or 6 primary colors at a time. I find that these sets are never in stock haha but its ok because i like getting colors i specifically need/want. My dad got me the flesh tones for christmas (those are by far the most valuable because it is near impossible to find markers with realistic skin tone to them, and colored pencil just doesn't give you the smoothness a marker can). Then I started off by buying the colors i needed for the picture i was currently working on. I continued doing that and then getting some that i just liked. So eventually i got a wide array.
It is also good to, when buying a color you need, buy at least one, preferably two shades that you will shade it with, so you make sure you have the ability to all that you want with it.
