Part of my Supers Universe

The Woman in Black is my universe's version of the Grim Reaper. Her real name is Azrael, the angel of death in Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. I wanted to do my own thing for the personification of Death, and the idea came to me that Death isn't meant to be scary. So I came up with the idea of a beautiful woman in a black dress. She would have black hair that would resemble a hood, and pale skin in order to draw parallels to a skeleton in a cloak. I tried to make her look like the actress Eva Green (because for some reason that's who came to mind when I got my idea solidified). Anyway, this version of death approaches those who are going to die soon as a friend. Inserting herself into their lives as a way to ease the transition. She then greets their soul at the moment of their death and escorts them to their afterlife.
