Thanks, my choice was a balance between what I needed and what was within my budget. I've had the Fuji for almost 3 years and I can't complain. Naturally, I would love to have the Canon Mark III, but not yet. I had Nikon equipment, and the initial change to digital wasn't that expensive since I could use all my lenses. The new Fujis are about the same, at 12 megapixels, but I'm finding that I need to upgrade pretty soon, because of the demands for publishing. Not knowing what your use is, I would recommend the Fuji S3 as a reasonably easy on the pocket solution, especially if you already have Nikon equipment. If not, then the Canon 5D is a good choice also.
