also amongst other name meanings 'Emil' apparently was derived from Latin aemulus meaning "rival" which is pretty ironically fitting
Rowan's fam history is summarized on his app but i still do want to get into his mother and father's history since i've had it in my head for a long time

I really do want to know more about them! Especially since I can relate at least a little bit knowing that Sylvia and Ephy(Tess' mother) were good friends before they both died :c one from sickness and the other one after giving birth. SOBS why are we so horrible to our characters?!
