oh she is super super cute... great shot!! Do you shoot on manual mode? I just bought a canon 450d!

Thank you so much! I take my macro shots (they are on my other account =Fr0zenIllusi0n ) with the manual mode and most of my cat shots with the autofocus (cats move too much!) but I really prefer the manual mode!

Well I'm almost sure that I used my Sigma 18-200mm lens for this photo, I also have the Tamron 70-300mm (macro 1:2) (which I use with my cheap extension tubes for my macro shots) and I've broken the 18-55mm lens which was sold with the camera 6 months ago

Im actually looking at a macro lense at the momment... lenses are just so expensive!!
The 450's live view is a bit weird, its not like a normal live view shooting mode.. but i knew that before i bought it.. nothing too special, and i've only ever used it to check it out.. i think it's pretty useless if you want my opinion so don't be too upset! However it is 12mp's instead of the 400's 10mp.. which is good for cropping and stuff i guess.. but i guess it all just depends!

Yeah I know! I advise you to buy extension tubes instead of a macro lens if you are a beginner, and when you get used to the extension tubes and you think you really improved your "macro skills", you may buy a macro lens! I say that because someone once told me that she really wanted to do macro photography and she bought an expensive macro lens, and that 2 month later, after trying and trying to improve, she didn't manage to and stopped doing macro photo... It was a great loss of money :S Well it's just an advice!

yes i bought the macro filters.. 1+ 2+ & 4+ and ive been playing around with them when i get time.. i think im pretty happy so far.. but i need much more practice.
