Star have no meaning,since it's an english word. Cometia comes from 'Comet'
Star Cometia Butterfly was born to Moon Butterfly and Eclipsa Butterfly,
she was created via magic and was born and the most cold day of Mewman
Winter,in case,stump day. Moon and Eclipsa's magical contract made them
become more and more closer,and at the end,they both were hopelessly
in love,and married,ignoring some of Mewni's prejudices.
Star was never sent to Earth,and in fact, met her future wife,Jackie Lynn
Thomas,due to an program created by queen Moon to send all the Mewmans
descendants in Earth to Mewni. Jackie was an descendant of the Kraken
House,and they met during an political meeting between the actual
Lord Kraken and queen Moon.
