Description
You walked down the school hallway with your group of friends. Laughing about your favorite animes with Natalia, Elizabeta, Lili, and Feliks, you were heading to lunch.
"I know right." You laughed. "I can't wait to see that either." Lili giggled. Suddenly, you saw a boy walk down the hallway, hands in his school uniform pockets. "Hm.." you blinked, watching the boy walk down the hall. Weird, you've never seen that kis around before.
"Hey ________." Elizabeta called, making you turn to face her. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah...why?" You asked.
"You totally spaced out just now." Feliks said, walking beside Lili.
"Oh. I was just looking at the boy over there. I've never seen him in school before." You adimtted as you pointed to the boy, who now stopped to talk to Mrs. Pangea, your plump history teacher.
"Oh that's Lukas. He's the foreign exchange student from Norway." Lili said. "Big brother kinda knows him." She said with a smile.
"Really? All the way from Norway?" You glanced back at him again, and saw he finished talking to Mrs. Pangea. "Hm..he looks lonley." You said. "Why don't we go make friends with him?"
"Oh _____." Natalia said, crossing her arms. "You've always had a kind heart. But that boy speaks little to no words. He's in my History and Law classes, and he just sits there, taking notes and doesn't even do anything. Mr. America, our Law teacher, can make everyone in the class laugh except him with his rambles about freedom and burgers. He a weird kid." You looked at Natalia. Out of all your friends, Natlia you've known the longest. And you know she can be a big bitch sometimes.
"That's not true. I'm sure he's still to nervous, I mean he came all the way from Norway." You said to her.
"Whatever _______." Elizabeta said. "We're heading to lunch. Let's go." You glanced once more at Lukas, and luckily he was still there. You turned back to your friends.
"You guys go. I want to go talk to him." You waved you friends good-bye and hurried down the long hallway. Your friends looked at you, then to eachother, before walking down the hallway to the cafeteria.
You slowed your pace as you approached Lukas. "Lukas!" You called. He jumped at the sudden call of his name, but turned around to look at you. You saw he had blonde hair with beautiful blue eyes and a poker face on. "Hi there. My name is __________ _________." You said cheerfully.
"Hi.." he said blankly. You twitched at his emotionless reply. "Wow. All the way from Norway and you speak our language perfectly." You said with a chuckle.
"I had alot of practice on the trip here." Lukas said.
"Well that's cool. So what class do you have now?" You asked. He glanced down at his paper.
"Science.." He mumbled. "...In room 8B."
"Would you like me to show you were it is?" you asked. He took a moment to reply, but finally nodded. "Okay, come on." And you both walked down the hall. You looked over at him, but his eyes were practically glued to the scheduale he had. "You don't talk much do you?" you asked with a giggled.
"No.." he replied.
"Hm. When I think that's cool. It's makes you more mysterious." You looked at him, and a faint blushed appeared on his cheeks, making you smile. "Well, here's the class." He nodded, folding up the paper and putting it into his pocket. He looked at you, then walked into the classroom.

Time passed, and over time, you continually talked with Lukas. He was actually really sweet, a man of few words, but definatly sweet. You and him sat outside, school was finally over and the day was beautiful.
"So. You're in my Algebra Class and I never noticed, huh?" You looked at him. He shrugged. You giggled. Suddenly, you both heard someone screaming.
"Yo! Lukas! C'mon let's get going!" You glanced over and saw Mathias, a pretty popular guy in school. Lukas stood up.
"Well I gotta go.." he said lowly.
"Okay...bye." You said. He waved a bit, then walked up to Mathias, who walked with him. You could hear him screaming.
"Lukas, you got a really hot one buddy!" Lukas shrugged. You giggled, grabbing your bookbag and going to meet Elizabeta because her soccer practice was almost over.
"I didn't think Lukas would like actually make a friend here. And how he can put up with your weirdness is beyond me. " Feliks said the next day during lunch.
"What's what suppose to mean!" You cried, crossing your arms. Feliks laughed.
"I was like just kidding ______." he said. You sat down.
"But did you hear?" Natalia asked you. You looked at her. "Lukas is going back home to Norway."
"What!" You cried. "No way!"
"Yeah. His foreign exchange student program is almost over. And Arthur, the one who went to Norway as an exchange student for Lukas, is coming back." Lili said.
"Why didn't he tell me?" you whispered to yourself just as the bell rang. Natalia got up.
"Like I said ______, he's a man of few words." she shrugged, as you all headed off to your next classes.
After school, you found Lukas waiting for you in your usual spot.
"Lukas!" You called, making him glance over. You ran up to him and sat beside him, your heart heavy. "Why didn't you tell me you're leaving back to Norway soon?" you asked. He shrugged. You felt tears. "Lukas..."
"Becuase I knew it'd make you sad." He said calmly.
"I know. And I am sad. But you should've told me. Does Mathias know? He is one of your friends too isn't he?" Lukas shook his head. "Then why do you walk home with him all the time?"
"I live in his house for the program. But he's annoying. I don't really like him." He said, crossing his arms.
"Oh.." you said, glancing at the floor.

The day finally came were Lukas was heading back to Norway. And it was his last day in school. In Algebra, everyone said their good-byes to him, but he just shrugged off the ferewells. You were quite sad the entire day, avioding your friends, and not being able to pay attention in any of your classes.
"Have a safe trip." You said to him. You were both outside of the school, and Mathias was waiting in his car to drive Lukas to the airport. He nodded. You smiled. "I'm glad I met you Lukas." Again, he only nodded. Suddenly, he placed his hand on your cheek and then placed a kiss on your lips. You blushed for a minute, but soon returned the kiss, placing your hands on his shoulders. When you parted for air, he whispered.
"Thank you..for being my friend." You smiled.
"And thank you for being mine." And then, for the first time in your friendship with him, a small smile appeared on his face. Moving his hand from your cheek, he took his bag, and walked to Mathias' car, climbing into the passengers seat. You smiled as Mathias drove the car off, hearing him cry to the Norwegian:
"Nice job buddy!" You laughed a bit, before grabbing your bookbag and walking down the street, finger on your lips, heart beating for Lukas.

You walked down the streets of Norway. You were now 22 years old, and on a business trip for work. You graduated high school 4 years ago with all your friends, who are now married, working, or still in collage.

Your stomach growled for food. "Hm..." You glanced at your watch. "Well it is lunch." You looked around and found a tiny little cafe, and walked inside. Going up to the counter, you saw a man with blonde hair, but his back was faced towards you. "Excuse me..." You said kindly. "I was wondering if I could have a..." The man turned around, and your heart stopped. The man was blonde, with deep blue eyes...
..and a poker face...

"L-lukas.." you muttered.

"______?" he raised an eyebrow. He came from around the counter. A grin widened on your face as you flung your arms around him.

"I've missed you so much!" You cried.

"I missed you to." He said as he returned the hug. "What are you doing in Norway?"

"I came here on buisness." You said.

"Great. How would you like to have some coffee with me? On the house." You chuckled.

"Sounds great." You said with a smile.

Again, after 4 years, you saw Lukas smile as he walked back behind the counter.

"What do you want?" he asked.
