I used to think that way, too, especially after FMA. But, eventually, you're gonna find a lot of good ones whether it be in anime or manga form (most of the time I like manga). Just keep looking, there's a lot of great stuff out there.

DBZ got me into anime but then i watched naruto then soul eater then FMA then death note then bleach THEN FMA ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!! seriously i've seen the hole anime at least 4 times

I used to watch Pokemon all the time (I still have the whole first series on VHS XD)! I watched it before FMA, but I never understood it for what it really was (being anime and whatnot).

For real? I mean, he almost "died" in the first movie and a few other times (I haven't seen a few of the newer movies), and they can't kill off the favorite character of so many little kids. XD They probably did that for anticipation purposes.
