Relatively quick drawing.
I love Miyavi!Went back to mechanical pencil to see if I could still do it or not....I think it looks better than when I use colour. Good to know.
The scanner makes things blotchy. T^T
Time taken: 6.5-7 hours
Used: Mechanical pencil
Listened to: Pop is Dead, Shindemo-Boogie Woogie-, Jingle Bell, Coo Quack Cluck, Jibun Kakumei -2003-, Tariraritarara, and Ashita Genki ni Naare singles and Gagaku album (Miyavi)

at first i thought... "oh it's just a photo manipulation to make it look like a sketch..." but then i noticed the pencil strokes that were incorrect in the hair... so in short... job well done!

When making a good picture be sure to have a tracing table. Because when something goes wrong on the orginal then corrections can be made on the copy. Get it?

I ruined the picture I made and what made things worse for me was that I had no tracing table.

You have proved me wrong. I've always shyed away from graphite pencils for shading anything other then anime art. You've shown everyone that pencil shading on a portrait IS possible without it looking awful... amazing...
