This started out a few months back with the orginal sketch "hawkeyes and Grr"It sat within my sketchbook for a few months until I took it out and had it scanned.
Three months went by as I attempted color combo after color combo and colored it maybe a few dozens times only to junk each one as it just didn't fit how I saw the two of them.
I stumbled on NeonDragon's art page here and went to her site.
I looked through her art and tutorials...I was inspired.
I pulled it out and after 5 days of work the finished peice...
I used a combination of Neon's art styles...
her soft coloring method for the background,girl and the nifty little magic effects.
And her hard coloring method for Grr...
Neon if you ever read this I want you to know you were amazing and really helped make this peice come to life for me.
Is it just me or is that woman crazy for being around a dragon that looks likely to eat her?
Just goes to show a woman must be crazy or powerful to be around something that psyhcotic looking....
