Let’s all take a second and appreciate the team Floating Salmons here.This is the only moment in the entire series, when someone STANDS UP for Ella.
I mean, just look at her teammates:
She’s got Sky, the girl who cares about FairPlay, and teamwork, Dave, the guy she fell for, and who is quite nice, and Shawn, who frigging found them a shelter and brings them food every.single.morning.
Yet none of them stand up for Ella when Sugar along with Chris bully her.
Some people think that Sammy had it bad, but she also had Jasmine to comfort her, to help her gain confidence, to stand up for her! Who does Ella have? No one. No fricking one!
I mean, seriously writes, what’s WRONG with you? There are so many people here who could stand up to help Ella! Sky, Jasmine, Shawn, heck even Dave! (which I’m sure would make her fall for him even harder <3)
All Ella does is being adorable, yet the only time someone sympathizes with her is when *Spoiler alert* she gets her heart broken by Dave.
Im sorrry, but if people such as Gwen, Zoey, Leshawna, Bridgette, Lindsay, maybe even Dunc, Brick, Cody, Beth, Trent, Court, DJ, Tyler, Izzy, Sam, Dawn, B were there, they wouldn’t let Sugar get away with this.

You know, if I was going to write episode summaries still, I would have said this.
Jasmine said she wouldn't let emotions and her heart guide her anymore. Topher is a Chris-wannabe. Scarlet is an nonemotional brainiac at this point. Max is a proclaimed master of all evil.

Yeah, Sugar claiming that it "was about something else", seriously LAME . And Sky SEEMED to care there, until she heard that Dave liked HER instead and somehow THAT became more important to her than trying to make Ella feel better, SAD . I like Sky and all, but she SERIOUSLY dropped the ball there with her ultimate insensitivity towards Ella's plight . And, to think, if Dave had let Sky elaborate on her "but" in the previous episode and given her a chance to MENTION her boyfriend back home, he could've moved on and Davella could've stood a better chance of happening, but, he didn't want to hear the "but", so from there Ella's heart was broken, and ultimately Dave's too when he found out via Sky's audition video of her situation that he could've known about beforehand if he had ONLY let her explain.

Yeah, I don't think Sugar's reason was, well reasonable I mean, maybe I'm overreacting, but I don't think it's a good reason to bully Ella.
Yes, at that moment, I wasn't that fond of Sky. I mean, I'm sure that hearing the guy ou like likes you too, but to rub it in Ella's face by smiling the way she did... it wasn't exactly nice.
Well, I'm kind of glad that Davella didn't happen, maybe she could get some developpement on her own, and get a guy who'd love her for who she is, not because his crush is in a relationship.

IDK WHAT Ella's deal was there relentlessly pursuing a friendship with someone who was intent on hating her guts, to me it just wasn't worth it. Then again, it WOULD be hard to understand unless your personality resembles hers (Ella) any.
And the sad part is, Sky seemed to be the CLOSEST thing Ella came to having a REAL friend, before Sky lost control of her emotions there.
Yeah, seems like she was brought onto this show to be a punching bag for Chris and Sugar and little else. Upon further review, I fear I got carried away somewhat with that "what if" assessment there, but Davella IS still a cute idea, even though it IS only a crack pairing.

Plus, sometimes Sugar acted as her friend, you know "giving her advice" such as ( 'Maybe you could change his mind with a song') and during Ella's elimination, when Ella told her to dtay strong she was like ("Ok! I'll try!") so Ella thought that Sugar didn't hate her as much she said she did. Plus, Sky told her that the meanest people are the ones who don't have self confidence, so she wanted Sugar to be full of self confidence (and we all know how much Sugar DOESN'T need this).
Yes. Unfortunatley I was hoping that Sammy would interact with Ella, seeing as she knows how it feels to be bullied as well. Or Jasmine would help her the way she helped Sammy. Because opposite team member or not no one deserves to be bullied ;-;
Although Shawn, Sky, Dave, Leo and Beardo could've interacted with her as well. It would be interesting as well.
Most of the crack pairings are cute (and imaginary). And I wish the writers would stop making those 'punching bags' characters. You can't only be recieving the bad end of things!

Yeah I can't stand the cruelty to Ella especially with the way Chris does. Especially thinking That Ella was in the wrong THAT UNFAIR! AND ELIMINATING HER FOR SINGING! YOU WON'T EVEN IN THE SAME AREA SO IT SHOULD'NT BOTHER YOU!

That's one of the only problems I have with this season, THIS CHRIS'S MOST UNLIKABLE INFACT HATABLE APPRENCE YET!
Frist his cruelty to Samey and Ella is insufferable
AND THE WAY HE WAS WILLING TO GET THE CONTESTANTS KILLED IN SUCH A CASUL MANNER LIKE WITH THE BALLS and SHOCK collars. AND IN SKY FALL HE WAS PRETTY MUCH TRYING TO KILL THEM. Hey remember in that TDA episode where the contestants were inside submarines filling with water and couldn't get out and Chris felt they went too far.
BUT WORST OF ALL. He fucked with relationships. Hell he forced Max to switched teams because he felt that he and Scarlett were getting too close? WHAT'S THE FIUCKING PROBLEM WITH TWO PEOPLE IN A RELATIONSHIP !!!!!!!
And played and major role in the sinking of Sky and Dave's relationship ship!

Oh, I've always hated Chris.
Not only did he let Amy bully Sammy, he also enforced it. telling her that she was the 'Lesser Amy' and stuff .
Well, technically, Max and Scarlett weren't together, and Sky with Dave had a shot even on the opposite teams. Frankly, when it comes to Skave, well, Sky tried to tell Dave on multiple occasions that she had a boyfriend, but he didn't listen to her. Sooner or layter he would find out.
VBut that was low Even for Chris.

I do understand why they couldn't stop Chris from doing this, but I don't think that being annoyed by someone is a good excuse to let them be the victim of bullying.
And it's not in this episode that Sugar was trying to tear her apart. No, in this episode, Ella told Sky that Dave liked her {Sky} and therefore broke her {Ella's} heart. And Sugar started laughing at her.

I agree being annoyed by someone isn't a good excuse.
Sugar does hate Ella because of her past experiences in pageants of "her kind" as referenced, not to mention Ella did accidentally insult her and the wrong choice of words in "I love You Knots".

Yes, I know that Sugar hates Ella,and even though I think that her reasons are really reasonable, I suppose it could be affected by her past.... meh I don't really know.
But what annoys me, is that bullying Ella goes without some kind of reaction.
