Actually, there was a scene that Mr. Cameron wrote (the one where Jake and Natyri are "married" before Eywa) that was cut - a sex scene with the two of them. And yes, as Mad-Pumpkin said before, it IS a sex organ (eeeeeeewwwwww). There are some things that cannot be unread... The internet is both a blessing and a curse. lol

This is funny! I thought the same thing too. But after I thought about it, I kind of figured that was more a mental connection and they must have something else for procreation. I mean, (1) that's just super creepy if it is their sex organ and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't allow bestiality on the big screen. Giant blue cat-people bestiality or otherwise. (2) If they didn't have anything down there, why would they bother covering it?
