Description Now I went a REALLY extreme route with this one. Shedinja is a gimmicky 'mon as is so I wanted to create an equally gimmicky (in the border of crazy and unlikely) mega

I honestly thought of it like this:

Mega Shedinja

Bug/Ghost

Ability: Eternal Husk (Can only be harmed by super effective moves. Reflects damage back for all other moves.)

Attack: +45 to original
Defense:-50 to original
Special Attack:+60 to original
Special Defense:-35 to original
Speed:+100 toΒ  original

Possible signiture move gained: Kagemusha (90 power, 10 PP, Special. The user vanishes into the shadows, ambushing the Pokemon from it's own shadows. High chance to flinch.)

I really do like gimmicky things like this! Especially when they're done well like Mega Shedinja here, because they provide an interesting challenge and are fun to use!Β Β 

And the whole "Awesome But Impractical/Crazy Enough to Work" thing? I like things like that. To the point that I took on the Elite 4 and Champ with a team ofΒ only mixed attackers, containing a Mothim, Minun (holding a Focus Sash, and with Metronome), Glalie (holding a Choice Scarf), Jumpluff, Shelgon (also holding a Choice Scarf), and Wigglytuff. And I won.
Took a few tries, though Β

The eyes on the wings are a very nice touch, ESPECIALLY since I've seen fanart of Shedinja that sometimes depicts it with a pair of creepy-looking eyes peering out from within the hole on its back.

The idea of the spirit hatching out of the shell as well for the shedinja evolve is a well conceived and appropriate mega evolve.
I am curious if you at one point considered taking the chitin wing prongs and having them be the tips of the shadow wings?
Like the spirit broke through the back and cracked apart the chitin taking the head with it.
That would still leave a body husk for the tail but also display more of the chitin across the now expanded body. (I still do like the little wispy ends though)
The elongated chitin claws I am fine with cause for all be know they were folded in the shell.

I agree with this, since it left his shell behind. Additionally, the power of wonder guard increases with this monotype, granting an immunity to 16 out of 18 types. And how about an update to Wonder Guard to make it completely broken? Since of this eyes on his wing, resembling a seraphim, it could be called Heaven's Shield: HARMED by supereffective moves only. (So Heaven's Shield = Wonder Guard + Magic Guard.)Β

This is a really cool design, and is a good use for the stats but for ability I would put sturdy...basically for be diabolical... ok no, but it would make this mega shedinja really dangerous (but no invencible)

The invincible Shedinja tactic won't work when it's holding a Mega Stone... The META is full of Pokemon and attacks that will kill Shedinja, unless there's some sort of loophole.
